Mockingbird Writers group have moved to the cafe at Living Choice, 123 Fisher Street, Fullarton as we are growing and want to be more inclusive. We recently had a launch there with Caroline Reid as our guest speaker who spoke about the importance of community and how joining a writers groups is one of the ways we can engage with and receive support from our writing community. Caroline is a multi talented performer, writer and poet and generously shared her stories about research, creativity, reading, trusting one’s instincts and how ideas can appear in the most serendipitous ways. She also performed one of her poems called ‘Lost’, which was poignant as well as entertaining.

The launch was well attended, with lots of networking, resources to view and plenty of refreshments.
