At Mockingbird Writers we too are passionate about writing. Our mission is to write and to support each other through the good times and bad times.
We offer:
· Feedback and support from other writers
· Monthly face-to-face themed meetings
· Opportunities for members to write guest blog pieces or articles for Mockingbirdwriters.net
· Bi-annual writing day retreats
· Special guest speakers, workshops and more
Our Major Goals :
- We aim promote the belief that reading and writing create a deeper understanding of ourselves and others, and broadens society’s collective consciousness
- We aim to attract and retain new members by providing a collaborative and interactive meeting space for talented new and established writers.

- Respectful and Critical : As writers we often critique each other’s work. We do this in a respectful and non-judgmental manner to ensure the feedback will develop and nurture the writer’s work.
